Green Adventure: Nepal Programs 2025 – A New Approach with Local Guides
Starting with the 2025 season, Green Adventure is bringing a major change to the organization of its programs in Nepal. We are proud to announce that all of our programs will be conducted exclusively with local guides from Nepal, who are an integral part of the Green Adventure team. This decision comes as a result of our desire to provide you with an authentic, safe, and accessible experience.
Why We Chose Local Guides
Green Adventure is the first agency in Romania to expand its guide team internationally. This is made possible because we discovered and collaborated with a local agency in Nepal, which has vast experience in organizing mountain and cultural programs. This partnership ensures that the on-site organization will be flawless, and the services provided will be of the highest quality. Additionally, the local agency has essential connections for managing safety scenarios, such as emergency evacuations. For us, it is very important to be sure that we have the right people who can offer you a memorable experience in this country that has captivated us time and again. In our travels in Nepal, these guides have shown us “through thick and thin” that they are the best solution for making our programs more accessible for you and, at the same time, much richer with them nearby at every moment of this simply transformative journey.
Benefits for Tourists
By working with local guides, we can offer more affordable prices and a much more authentic experience. Our Nepalese guides are natural experts in local traditions and history, offering tourists a unique perspective on Nepali culture. All of our guides speak English and hold national and international guiding licenses, with at least 15 years of experience. In every program we run in Nepal, these people have opened their hearts to us and made our connection with this country even gentler and stronger at the same time. Besides their warm and harmonious personalities, the group will naturally be drawn to them, without the “distraction” of a Romanian guide.
Nepal Programs for 2025
For the 2025 season, we offer four exciting programs:
- Everest Base Camp – A high-altitude ascent, with top-notch organization for the safety and comfort of tourists. A dream turned into reality.
- Annapurna Circuit Trek – A spectacular route, complemented by additional experiences such as rafting and meditation.
- Manaslu Circuit Trekking – A unique adventure, with local guides who know every detail of the route. The rarity of fauna and flora combined with challenges and adventure.
- Nepal Journey: From Sacred Temples to Mountain Adventures – A program dedicated to those passionate about exploring culture, picturesque landscapes, delicious cuisine, and authentic local traditions.
Safety and Personalized Support
In addition to the guiding provided by local guides, Green Adventure will ensure personalized assistance for each tourist group. A safety officer from Romania will be in constant contact with tourists, ensuring they have the best and safest possible experience. We will live this experience with you because we know it day by day. We will also dream of being with you and celebrate your successes. We will be there to support you and intervene, to provide details or answers if you need them. At any time of the day or night.
Ecology and Supporting the Local Economy
The decision to work with local guides also contributes to reducing greenhouse gas emissions by eliminating international flights for group leaders from Romania. Additionally, we support the local economy in Nepal, in line with our “giving back” philosophy. After multiple trips to Nepal, we realized we could create a more sustainable program by giving more guides the opportunity to participate in our programs. They can support their families and offer a truly authentic experience, while we will be part of the team, helping with organization, preparations, and 24/7 support from home, spending less time away from our families.
Testimonials and Feedback
The value of our local guides has already been validated by Green Adventure tourists who participated in programs in Nepal in 2023 and 2024. You can read their reviews on TripAdvisor and Google, where they praised the professionalism and knowledge of our guides. We must say we were very proud to read and hear your words. We were honored by the entire experience, in which you surpassed your limits, tried new things, discovered the resilience within you, waiting for such special moments to activate. We saw fulfilled dreams, tears of joy, winning souls, minds, and bodies. As long as there is a need for us to offer such experiences, we will be there.
